My mind is on compassion today again. I think we could use some support and togetherness so here are some ways to contribute to the world:
A foundation that helps refugee families rebuild their lives.
Yes, we all have our own politics. Yes, we have our own religion. Love anyway. Step out across enemy lines and embrace conflict rather than run. Your love has the ability to transcend guilt, shame, and indifference. Wrap your arms around those you fear, and invite others to do the same.
Supporting women artists and anti-domestic violence
This exhibition features over 30 incredible female artists carefully selected from all over the planet by curator Laura E. Kennedy. Each was provided with an identical “logo” shaped panel to work on and the proceeds from sales go to the wonderful Anti-Domestic Violence Charity – White Ribbon
A company that provides loans to people who would like to expand their business/eduction etc. (bonus: great Ted Talk by one of the c0-founders)
Kiva is an international nonprofit, founded in 2005 and based in San Francisco, with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. We celebrate and support people looking to create a better future for themselves, their families and their communities.
